"I spent over 20 hours at the border between Ukraine and Poland watching kids crying and saying goodbye to their fathers" On February 25th Yassya was supposed to have an appointment at the Israeli consulate in Kyiv with plans to join a Masa program in May. The war changed her plans and Yassya was in Israel two months earlier arriving in Israel via Lviv and Poland with just a backpack on her shoulder.
